Remedial Massage for Chronic Pain

Therapy for long-lasting pain when you have had enough of the discomfort.

Remedial massage for chronic pain focuses on treating and managing persistent pain by targeting the underlying musculoskeletal issues causing discomfort. This therapeutic approach involves a combination of techniques like deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and stretching to release muscle tension, improve mobility, and promote healing. By addressing areas of tightness, inflammation, or injury, remedial massage helps reduce pain, enhance circulation, and restore normal function, offering relief from conditions like back pain, arthritis, or fibromyalgia. It is often personalized to suit the specific needs of the individual.

Traditional Chinese Therapy

There are two types of traditional Chinese massage – Tui na and Zhi Ya.

Tui na employs pushing, stretching and kneading of the muscle. This is the more commonly available style in Western countries, and Tui na is occasionally displayed in advertising by the most authentic of practitioners to identify their particular style.

The Zhi Ya style focuses on pressing and pinching at acupressure points.

Either may be employed by a practitioner in addressing long-lasting pain to release muscular tension and identify the cause of the problem.

The shop is open 7 days, 9am to 7:00pm last booking.
